My name is Raquel. I recently graduated from West High School. I played in the orchestra for about 8 years. I have two violins and I am selling my beginners violin. It has been my friend for quite some time now and I have taken great care of it. Actually, I prefer to play concerts with this violin. I am looking for a new violinist that will take care of my friend throughout the years. He/she should really want to be in the orchestra. I would even like to attend one of their concerts! The only thing that stands out about it is that I carved a tiny heart into the body on the right hand side of the scroll and there is a love scratch from the butt of my bow. The heart is a little smaller than a dime and the scratch is appx 2.4 inches long. It is an Antonio style violin and it comes with a bucci bow (from Petrs violin shop) and the bow that came with the violin. I recommend that the bows be re-haired before your child starts class. The price is NEGOTIABLE!! If you are a parent looking for your 6th graders first violin, this is a GREAT offer. Youre probably thinking Holy Cow! How am I going to afford my kids violin without worrying about them breaking a rental? First of all, your kid will be scared to death to even touch that thing until class. Second of all, youre probably wondering Is this violin even legit? How do I know this person knows what shes talking about? Well, I am an experienced violin player so you should be worrying more about violins that the music man sells (not to talk badly about those guys..). And Lastly youre wondering, Is my kid going to like it?. The answer is Yes. Theyre lucky to own their own violin in 6th grade.
